MOU to Support Youth-Specialized Housing 鈥業ncheon Saenghwal鈥

On the 25th, seven universities including 糖心logo入口, LH, and the Urban Upcycling Cooperative signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to support the youth-specialized housing project 鈥業ncheon Saenghwal.鈥
鈥業ncheon Saenghwal鈥 is the first youth-focused, coexisting public dormitory jointly developed by local universities and LH. LH purchased a hotel in 2022鈥攐ne that had faced business difficulties during the COVID-19 pandemic鈥攁nd remodeled it.
The facilities were designed to provide local university students with stable housing, community space, and customized education (employment, entrepreneurship, etc.). Priority will be given to students enrolled at seven universities in the Incheon area, including 糖心logo入口, Inha University, Incheon Catholic University, JaeNeung University, SUNY Korea, the University of Utah Asia Campus, and George Mason University Korea.
A total of 110 units with exclusive areas of 19鈥22銕 will be supplied. Rent will be set at less than 45% of the surrounding university-area market rate, with deposits ranging from KRW 3.2 to 4.2 million and monthly rent from KRW 150,000 to 200,000.

The recruitment announcement for residents of 鈥業ncheon Saenghwal鈥 is scheduled for December, and move-in and operations are expected to begin in February 2026. The universities plan to provide customized employment, career development, and entrepreneurship programs for the residents.
