Full-scale Research Launched on Solutions for Algal Blooms in Songdo Central Park Seawater Canal and Eco-friendly Biomass Utilization
The agreement aims to establish a cooperative framework for the revitalization of Songdo International City and to drive multidimensional development strategies encompassing environmental management, research, urban regeneration, and social contribution. During the signing ceremony, all three institutions reaffirmed their commitment to collaboration based on mutual trust.
Through this MOU, the participating institutions will pursue joint initiatives based on complementary roles, including:

"Seaweed-based carbon reduction technology and biomass valorization are core areas of the blue economy. With this agreement, we expect deeper cooperation with the Incheon Facilities Corporation, not only improving ecological conditions in Songdo鈥檚 seawater canal but also expanding toward practical biomass utilization models."
