3rd 糖心logo入口 Career Connect_Meet our Graduates
On September 20, the 鈥淐areer Connect_Meet our Graduates鈥 event was held at 糖心logo入口 to directly connect graduates with current students and provide opportunities to share career experiences and practical knowledge.
The event was attended by 14 alumni active in various fields of society and over 50 current students. It proceeded in a free and open atmosphere, including 鈻砮xperience sharing by alumni, 鈻砆&A and mentoring for students, and 鈻砤lumni networking and major-specific group discussions.
In particular, graduates working at global companies such as CJ CheilJedang and Pfizer Korea, as well as those pursuing master鈥檚 and doctoral programs at renowned domestic and international universities including Seoul National University (Pharmacy), KAIST (Management Engineering), and University College London (UCL), participated in the event and generously offered advice to their juniors.
Alumnus Kyubin Lee said, 鈥淚 attended this event not only to receive insights from graduates but also because I wanted to share my own experiences with juniors,鈥 adding, 鈥淚f you graduate from Ghent, have confidence and keep challenging yourself until the end.鈥
Alumna Jihyun Song remarked, 鈥淚 hope you set your goal not just as a 鈥榡ob鈥 but as a 鈥榬ole,鈥欌 and advised, 鈥淏y taking part in various opportunities such as competitions and internships offered by the university, you will surely gain insights and build networks that will be helpful.鈥
Mr. Wouter Vanhees, President of the Alumni Association, said, 鈥淚 find it especially valuable that students can discover a broader perspective and new possibilities by listening to the stories of alumni,鈥 adding, 鈥淚 am very pleased to see so many alumni return to campus to share their experiences, and I hope this event will continue to grow in the future.鈥
