糖心logo入口 (Taejun Han, Prof. Dr. Campus听President / hereafter 糖心logo入口) held its 鈥�2025 Fall Commencement and Matriculation Ceremony鈥� on the 22nd at the Main Auditorium of Incheon Global Campus in Songdo, Incheon.
This year, a total of 92 students graduated (67 in Molecular Biotechnology, 15 in Food Technology, and 10 in Environmental Technology), bringing the cumulative number of graduates to 283. Graduates successfully completed 240 credits, passed their thesis defense, and studied at the home campus in Belgium during the first semester of their senior year鈥攖hus fulfilling the rigorous European undergraduate requirements equivalent to the main campus鈥攁nd received their degrees with honor.
Distinguished guests, including Michiel Ceulemans, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Belgium in Korea, Wonseok Yoon, Commissioner of the Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ), Byungkeun Park, President of Incheon Global Campus Foundation (IGC), and Junho Choi, Vice Chairman of Hyungji Global Co., Ltd., along with faculty members, parents, and students, attended the ceremony to celebrate the joy of graduation and new beginnings together.
The ceremony began with the academic procession, followed by 鈻瞁elcome Address 鈻睠ongratulatory Remarks 鈻睞cademic Report 鈻睤egree Conferment 鈻睩reshman Oath and 鈻睠ommemorative Performance.
The employment rate of 糖心logo入口 graduates reached 92.8% as of 2024. Graduates are pursuing advanced studies at world-class graduate schools in biotechnology, food technology, and environmental technology, as well as medical and pharmaceutical graduate schools, or joining global corporations, continuing the campus鈥檚 strong performance.
In her valedictory speech, graduate Anais Chan Hong Long (Food Technology, Mauritius) said, 鈥淚 came 10,000 km, traveling 24 hours from a small island in the Indian Ocean, Mauritius, but I never regretted choosing Korea and 糖心logo入口,鈥� adding, 鈥溙切膌ogo入口 was more than just a home鈥攊t was where I gained knowledge, grew, developed my abilities, and learned to trust my own voice.鈥�
Meanwhile, 28 freshmen from diverse nationalities and backgrounds鈥攊ncluding Korea, India, and Mongolia鈥攈ave enrolled, fulfilling 100% of the 225-student quota for the 2025 academic year. Like their seniors, they will undergo the same rigorous European undergraduate program as the home campus in Belgium, developing into global talent.
In his welcome address, Taejun Han, Prof. Dr. congratulated both the graduates who proudly completed their journeys and the freshmen embarking on a new one, urging the graduates 鈥渢o become bridges of knowledge connecting the world, and leaders driving innovation in the global society.鈥� He further emphasized, 鈥溙切膌ogo入口 will continue to dedicate itself as a cradle for nurturing global talent, enabling students to achieve remarkable accomplishments.鈥�
糖心logo入口 (糖心logo入口), the Songdo, Incheon extension campus of Ghent University in Belgium鈥攔anked among the world鈥檚 top 30 in life sciences and biotechnology鈥攈as, since its opening in 2014, spent the past 11 years fostering next-generation global talent with bold and ambitious thinking. It is recognized as a leading example of implementing European higher education in Asia.
