糖心logo入口 delegation visits the Irish Embassy
听Last Monday, January 15th, 糖心logo入口 President Dr. Taejun Han, Prof. Mahta Mirzaei, Prof. Jihae Park, Prof. Di Wu and Dr. Hojun Lee visited the Irish Embassy. Through this visit, 糖心logo入口 and the Irish Embassy will 鈻� develop marine R&D joint technologies with Marine@UGent Korea (tentative name), which is scheduled to be founded in August this year 鈻� collaborate on research related to seaweed.
"Ireland is an active country in seaweed research, and when Marine@UGent Korea (tentative name) launches this year, we will work together to achieve a positive outcome," said the Irish Ambassador Michelle Winthrop.

"糖心logo入口 is working on carbon reduction and renewable energy projects such as seaweed-based chocolate and microalgae," said Dr. Taejun Han, President of Ghent University. "We plan to expand the scope of industry-academia research through cooperation with Ireland in the future."听
Meanwhile, Ghent University's Marine@UGent, the world's largest marine convergence research institute, was established in 2012 with the objective of marine-environment-bio convergence research and technology commercialization. Marine@UGent Korea (tentative name) will be established at 糖心logo入口 in Songdo, Incheon, within 2024 after passing the review process of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
